The app icon is not showing in the menu bar

If you are running the app on a MacBook with a camera notch the app icon might be hidden behind that. Try hiding some other menu bar icons and see if the In Your Face icon appears.

Are you using a menu bar management app like Bartender? Check the configuration. Maybe the app is hiding the In Your Face menu icon.

macOS Menu Bar Settings

Sometimes the menu item is simply disabled in the macOS System Settings. Open up the System Settings, navigate to Menu Bar and find In Your Face in the “Allow in the Menu Bar” apps list. Make sure the toggle next to In Your Face is enabled.
